Ecodesign
The European Ecodesign directive 2005/32/EC from 6 July 2005 sets a framework for defining minimum requirements and labels for environmentally friendly and efficient energy-using products. Since 2009 it has been recast by directive 2009/125/EC, establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products, including a larger range of products.
Impact Energy is actively involved in the development and regular revision of the requirements for electric motors and their applications:
- No 640/2009 Motors
- No 641/2009 Circulator pumps
- No 327/2011 Fans
- No 547/2012 Water pumps
Impact Energy is actively involved in the development of Ecodesign requirements for motors, pumps, fans and compressors.
